BUT, it depends on if your trying to grow it out or keep it short! It looks like your undercut is almost completely grown out which is nice!! 8D if you’re trying to grow it out I’d just get a trim and continue getting them every 6-8 weeks like I suggested to Mary, but I reallllllyyyyy like you with a bob. It’s all cute and sassy at the same time. Just like you!
So if you want to keep it the length it is now, I’d just clean up the layers, maybe get an angle going on in the sides by having it short in the back and with a nice soft grad in the back.So it’ll be all nice and cute but with the layers you can style it all choppy and edgy too. IT’D BE GREAT.
As for color I really love your natural color and I’d be hesitant to put lightener on it. I mean, you’ve got ridiculously healthy, thick, coarse hair so your hair could totally handle it. It’s just so healthy that I don’t want to ruin it D: haha
BUT. I really love the color of your Kyoko wig and if you WERE to change your color, you would look REALLY GOOD with that. Because that wig is totally babely on you.

Hmmm, well I wouldn’t go any shorter all over but if you wanted to take time to style on a regular basis, you could totally pull off one of those styles that’s not really a mohawk, but is real short on the sides and long on the top and do fun stuff like pompadours and stuff! But I really like the length you have as well!
You also look really cute with long hair but I do prefer shorter hair on you rather than super long. I think you’d look really cute with a triangle grad that’s long in the front (like, to your shoulders, maybe just past them, and cut short right to the nape of your neck in the back with a dramatic angle to bring the two lengths together. You’d have the length in front that you could do fun styling things with but the back would be nice and short and easy to deal with!
Unless you colored your hair recently I think there’s a filter on this photo? If not and you actually colored it this dark, then YES. GOOD. I LIKE IT. If not, you should totally consider doing it dark like this because that’s what I’d suggest for color!
Remind me next time to not wear a dark colored shirt, I can’t tell where my own hair ends.

I would part it a bit more to the left and give you some bangs that sweep to the right! I’d also do a round one length with some layers to give you a bit more lift at the top and a bit less heavy around the sides!
As for color, I’d go darker with you too!! Not to black but a few levels darker so it’s more of a dark chocolate color.
Well if you’re trying to grow it out, I wouldn’t make too many changes. Get it trimmed (about 1/8 of an inch off) every 6-8 weeks to keep the ends healthy. You could maybe get some layers but only if you’re gonna want layers when it’s longer because it’d be a pain to get it all back to one length. But I do think layers would be really cute on you!
If you want to get layers, I’d go with Round layers then because it would take a bit of weight off the front, help frame your face, and preserve most of the length!

ahhh no worries!! This is already super cute on you! It already frames your face nicely, the color looks really nice and I love the purple in the front! (Is that for cosplaying Eridan or just because you like it?)
With the way it is right now, I think it’s at the perfect length for you but if you grew it out I think you would also look really cute with a choppy triangular bob!

For just some styling options,though You would look totally adorable with a pompadour or anything like that!
I think long hair looks really beautiful on you and if you wanted to keep the length, I’d do some round layers, maybe an inch shorter than the layers you’ve already got. But, I also think you could totally rock a short triangular grad that comes to just below your chin, (right where your hair kinda curves away from your face in the picture) and has a bit of a soft stack, not an extreme one, in the back.
For color, I think I’d go one or two levels darker like this!

I really love the cut you already have! It looks like you’ve already got a triangular shape which I really like, and if I were to change anything about the cut I’d add some triangular layers to make it just a little less bulky around the bottom. I wouldn’t want to take too much off though, because your wave pattern is really lovely!!!
I love the warm tone you already have in the color, and I might take you up just one level lighter and make it just a little more reddish to a strawberry blonde sort of crossed between this and this <: I wouldn’t change anything too drastically!
I really like the square shape you’ve got going on but I’d take some weight out of the bottom and add some lift to the top by cutting it just a little bit shorter (like a quarter inch), keeping the square one length, and then add triangular layers and straight across bangs!
For color, you have a pretty warm skin tone, so I would go with a dark brown with maybe some caramel colored foils!
For a cut I’d do a bit of a grad in the back so it’s more stacked and looks a bit less disconnected/blends more with the short parts in the front. You’ve already got a triangular shape in the front which I really like on you! You and I both have round faces and I love triangular cuts for them.
I might do a little bit of texturizing at the top to give it a bit more of a boost of volume but since your hair is pretty fine, I wouldn’t want to take too much off. I would definitely suggest investing in the Extra Body line by Paul Mitchell. The main ingredient in it is Panthenol, which makes your hair look and feel thicker!
As for color, I know you look awesome with bold colors and if you wanted to do something like that I think blue would be my favorite color on you, but if you wanted to stick with something more natural, either a warm burgundy for all over color if you wanted to go darker or maybe a partial foil!
I really love your curls so I wouldn’t want to cut off too much of your total length because they are lovely!! I might even do a curl reformation just to make them a bit more prominent? But for a cut, if you wanted something drastic, I think you could totally rock an undercut! I’d get it on your left side since your bangs start from the left and are directed toward your right.
For color, I also really like your natural color but I might put do a PM Shines (demipermanent translucent color) over it to emphasize the warm gingery tones!
If by inexpensive you mean something you can buy in a store, there is absolutely nothing I can or would recommend you as a hairstylist.

But yeah, extra commentary in the captions. Yesterday was fun for the most part, aside from my panick attack when I thought I was gonna have to go back to brown and almost had them cut it all off because my hair was only lifting to this candy orange color which would have been great if I wanted orange hair but I WANTED IT BLONDE OKAY.
Didn’t get to platinum obviously, but considering all the red we had to get out, that was expected. It’s a bit brassy and warm in tone for me, but it’s a process. Gonna do a PM Shines soon in the meantime and probably a KeraTriplex too, and once my hair’s a bit better, I’ll start doing foils every few weeks until I get there.

Just did this woman’s hair! She was so sweet and she loved it! Rebooked for color, bought a caper bag and is gonna buy two more at her next appointment!
Today was Graduation for a small group of FP’s! I did Tiffany’s hair and she looks like a fuckin’ rockstar, if I do say so myself B) She wanted this cool undone fauxhawk and it was so fun and really easy to boot!
